About Us

WHAT IS GCBPW?

On June 22, 1916, the Cincinnati Business and Professional Women was established.

During the years of World War I, it became obvious that there was no central organization by which business and professional women could be reached.  Encouraged by the federal government, the formation of the National Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW) took place in 1919 in St. Louis at its first call to convention.  Today the Greater Cincinnati Chapter is still active and an advocate for the advancement of women in the workplace.

A member of Cincinnati BPW has the ability to NETWORK WITH OTHER BUSINESS WOMEN, has access to MEMBER BENEFITS, and has the opportunity to develop and expand her skills through BOARD AND COMMITTEE INVOLVEMENT.

To attend a meeting or to request additional information telephone 513-859-5121 and leave your e-mail address, telephone/cell, mailing address and a membership coordinator will contact you.
