March 12 is Equal Pay Day

Equal Pay Day is the day of the calendar year that symbolizes how far the average woman must work in order to equal what the average man makes the PREVIOUS YEAR! The exact date varies from year to year. This year it falls in mid March. The pay inequity is far greater for for African American Women. Their day is July 9 this year.
